Huntly WalksWalking in and around Huntly, Scotland

The area offers a marvellous variety of choice for the walker, from riverside strolls to more demanding forest and hill walks. Some routes start from Huntly itself. Others are a short drive away by car or bus.

There is much to enjoy in these walks. Many of the points of interest are concerned with activities important to the local economy, including farming, forestry, game management and fishing.

The Huntly walks are for all to explore and enjoy, with consideration for others who may depend on the land for their work and leisure. Please help care for the countryside by following the Country Code. 

As wildlife and livestock are very sensitive to disturbance or injury, dogs must be kept on the lead near farmland and by the river. Please avoid fire risk in woodlands. Last, but no least, do give anglers pletly of room for casting their lines!
